About the Role
Job Summary:
As a Cleaning Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our residential properties in New Orleans. You will play a vital role in ensuring a positive living environment for our residents and upholding our commitment to quality. We have 20 open positions and are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, hardworking, and dedicated to providing excellent service.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize common areas, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other assigned areas within residential buildings.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
Empty trash and recycling bins.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Restock cleaning supplies as needed.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.
Qualifications:
Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Competitive hourly wage [$17.00 - $19.00] per hour

Vacuum Cleaner: High-quality vacuum cleaner with appropriate attachments for various surfaces (hard floors, carpets, upholstery).
Mops & Buckets: A selection of mops (e.g., microfiber, string) suitable for different floor types, along with clean buckets.
Cleaning Solutions: A comprehensive range of professional-grade cleaning solutions, including:
All-purpose cleaner
Disinfectant
Glass cleaner
Bathroom cleaner
Floor cleaner
Degreaser (if applicable)
Cleaning Cloths & Sponges: Ample supply of microfiber cloths, sponges (non-abrasive), and paper towels.
Spray Bottles: Durable spray bottles for dispensing cleaning solutions.
Protective Gear: Gloves (disposable and reusable), safety glasses/goggles, and optional face masks.
Dusting Equipment: Dusters (microfiber, feather) and dusting cloths.
Trash Bags: Heavy-duty trash bags of appropriate sizes.
Brooms & Dustpans: Brooms for sweeping and dustpans for collecting debris.
Step Stool/Ladder: A sturdy step stool or ladder for reaching high areas.
Specialty Tools (If applicable):
Grout brush
Scrub brush
Squeegee
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Gloves, masks, safety glasses, and other protective gear required for safe handling of cleaning chemicals and materials.
Additional Requirements Regarding Tools and Equipment:
Cleaning Specialists are responsible for the proper use, maintenance, and storage of all company-provided tools and equipment.
Any equipment malfunctions or damages must be reported to the supervisor immediately.
Cleaning Specialists are required to follow all safety guidelines and procedures when using cleaning solutions and equipment. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.
Cleaning Specialists must ensure tools and supplies are restocked as needed and communicate any shortages to the supervisor.
